Gold prospecting - Panning lessons in Tn.

When you join the G.P.A.A., you get the Sure Fire Panning Methods, video. That shows you several great panners that go through and explain their ways of panning. It is a great starting point.

You can also get gold panning lessons by finding a prospector to go panning with. A lot of us will take new people out, and show you the ropes. Panning isn't hard,,, it just takes a lot of practice. Get on the forums and find someone in your area.

Also, we have lessons at the monthly GPAA meetings as well as go out afterward and pan in the creeks and show new people how to find gold in our area.  This is the best way to learn.  Hands on!

Don't go out alone, without knowing what to do.  You can easilly get upset that your not finding gold, and that can make people give up prospecting.  It is fun, but it is much more fun when you go out with others that can show you the ropes, and teach you the basics of not just panning, but sluicing, and most importantly, how to find the gold in the first place.

The more you practice gold panning, the faster and better you will get at it.

What ever you do, have fun. I just think you will have more fun on your own, if you have had gold panning lessons before you go out to the creeks on your own. Gold panning lessons will save you time, and help you enjoy your trips panning in the future.
