Gold prospecting clubs in Tennessee:
GPAA has a Coker Creek Chapter for gold prospecting in eastern Tn.
I am now the current president, and hope to grow the chapter and get things really in full swing again.
We now are up to 250+ on our chapter roster!
We have a GPAA property, Rooster Ridge, and
after talking to the GPAA main office, we are hopeful we will get a new leased property for prospecting
soon.
To join the GPAA and get your
prospecting starter kit, the "Buzzard
Special" G.P.A.A. Membership kit, Click Here.
When you
renew your membership each year, make sure to let them
know your chapter:
"Coker Creek, TN.
Chapter"
This is very important.
Our chapter gets credits that show our membership size, and give us store credits for raffle prizes and other things. Also, the more members, the more likely to get and keep another GPAA leased property.
We meet the 3rd saturday, each month, at 10 AM.
The
meetings cover things like what kind of events or
outtings the chapter needs to plan. Also, there are
drawings and raffles for prizes.
We will be having information on fine tuning your prospecting skills in all future meetings.
I hope to add more to the monthly meetings, so we can have more and more people come to them. It is a great way to get together with prospectors and find people that you can partner up with and go prospecting.
We need members to show up to meetings and be active as a club. We could have some great times if we can get more people invovled in our group activities. Also, the more members we have in our chapter, the more of a chance we have for the GPAA to get us another lease property to prospect on.
We need your support!
If you don't show up to meetings, we can't do anything as a group! It takes a group of people to make a chapter work.
Come join the fun and help make this a great chapter!
Directions to the Rutan Club in Coker Creek, Tn.
from 68, heading south from Tellico Plains, go to Coker Creek. Where the post office and little shops are at, on the corner going to the left (towards doc rogers field) you take a right, instead...
go about 1/4 mile, and you will see a school sitting back off the road on the left. That street going to the school, you will see a sign for the rutan club.
Turn left towards the school, and the rutan club is the white building just before the school, on your right.
We use the back section for most of our meetings.
The smokey nugget
that you see in the mining guide is CLOSED.
However, for GPAA members, we do have
a local property to go to, and are looking for a larger
one now.

TN Gold Co.
